Lecture by Damian Radcliffe: Journalism and the Media in the Age of Trump

The Atlantic Academy presents Damian Radcliffe, Carolyn S. Chambers Professor in Journalism at the University of Oregon.

In this lecture, Professor Radcliffe will explore some of the biggest, and most important, issues facing the media and journalists in 2017. His talks will cover: Journalism and the media in the age of Trump, the impact of digital disruption on journalism and the business of media, and opportunities for an important (but often overlooked) media sector - local newspapers - in the digital era. Radcliffe has over two decades experience working in the media and communications industries. He has held editorial, strategic and research roles in the UK, Middle East and the USA. The impact and potential of digital tools and technologies have been at the heart of his work.

Generously supported by the German-American Institutes.
