On February 22, 1996 - George Washington's birthday - then-prime minister of the State of Rheinland-Pfalz, Kurt Beck, opened the office of the Atlantic Academy in Kaiserslautern.
The two main goals of the Atlantic Academy are to intensify the relations between the people of Rheinland-Pfalz and the American citizens living and working here; and to intensify the transatlantic dialogue between Germans and Europeans on the one, and the American people on the other side of the Atlantic.
The membership in the Atlantic Academy is open to everyone and we would very much appreciate if you would become a member and support our work. More information can be found via the navigation panel on the right.
The Atlantic Academy is located in the city hall north of Kaiserslautern. Our seminars, workshops, talks and exhibitions take place all over the state of Rheinland-Pfalz. We cordially invite you to participate in the Academy's events or to become a member of the Association.
