About the event:

In an unprecedented election year 2024, American voters are heading to the polls in a time of complexity. A polarized society, disinformation on the rise and volatile politics form the backdrop to their decision and to campaign narratives. Together with Bruce stokes, a renowned expert on public opinion polling, transatlantic relations, and trade policy, we want to talk about the state of the United States in this election. How do campaigns operate in this challenging environment? What role does the media play? Can polling truly predict the election outcome? We're looking forward to discussing these questions and more with Mr. Stokes and our audience.
