Description:

Following the pivotal U.S. midterm elections, the balance of power in Washington and across state capitals has shifted, setting the stage for the next legislative battles and the race toward the 2028 presidential campaign. What do the results reveal about voter priorities, the resilience of democratic institutions, and the enduring divides within the American electorate?

Join us on Tuesday,November 17, 2026 at 5 p.m. (CET) for an in-depth post-election analysis with veteran political journalist and author John Nichols. Drawing on decades of covering grassroots movements, party dynamics, and national campaigns, Nichols will unpack the key takeaways from the congressional, gubernatorial, and state-level races as well as the shifting balance of power in Congress and its policy implications.
