Description:

Germany has an abundance of meaningful Christmas traditions (Advent, Nikolaus), Christmas characters, sweets and foods, and events like Christmas Markets to make the festive season truly special. Rheinland-Pfalz in particular has many beautiful Christmas markets to offer where American families can go and experience the unique atmosphere without having to drive far. But which ones are the most enchanting ones? Let two well-travelled Americans currently living in the Kaiserslautern area give you some insights on their favorite Christmas markets in our online event!

Margaret Stolzoff

and her husband Brent have been an Army family for over 12 years, stationed all over the continental United States, Alaska, and Germany. Brent is in medical operations and Margaret’s background is in Exercise Science. She is currently a Yoga & Meditation teacher. Margaret & Brent have two precious girls and their adorable fur baby. They find joy in helping families find ways to create memories and find adventure while stationed overseas. Through their passion for travel, hiking, and exploring places both near and far, they hope that they can inspire you to get out and make the most of this beautiful opportunity living abroad. Follow them on their travels through their Facebook & Instagram Page: Kaiserslautern Day Tripper @ktowndaytripper.

and his wife and Aubrey are two Americans living in Germany. They are sharing their experiences living in a foreign country along with their travels around the world. Their aim is to show the challenges of living in a new country, such as overcoming language barriers, cultural differences, daily life, and more, while also highlighting that no matter where we come from, our similarities outweigh our differences.
