About:

Time to buy your laugh insurance, because these jokes are on fire. German and American comedians share the stage for one night, with takes on life, love and paying with cash in Germany. Featuring Berlin’s own Ludwig Benecke (engineer turned comedian) and Patrick Moore (San Francisco tofu survivor), you can expect clever cross-cultural insights, awkwardly accurate observations, and bonding experiences.

Your host for the evening, Erin Crouch, has been hosting and producing the comedy shows on the local military bases since 2021 and performing in her village Sommerfest since 2023. Her neighbors begrudgingly admit she has finally learned when to put out her trash.

Unlike your speeding tickets, this show will be in English.

Comedians

Erin Crouch

is an American comedian who lives in Germany, where she produces monthly shows on three US military bases. She was featured on Germany's largest comedy festival, Cologne International Comedy Festival, in 2024. She co-produces Festrogen, the annual women's comedy festival in Luxembourg (2021- present).

Ludwig Benecke

has been tirelessly showcasing his wit and humor to audiences all over Europe and the United States. As a Swiss-German nice guy navigating the unpredictable world of comedy, Ludwig hilariously recounts his journey from a life as an economic engineer to pursuing a creative career.

He is now based in Berlin and has been described by various people as “funny.”

Pat Moore

was born and raised in the San Francisco Bay area, and grew up on a diet of love, attention, and tofu. He draws on his unusual upbringing as one of the first generation of children with openly gay parents as inspiration for his comedy, weaving storytelling and punchlines together to make his unique story relatable around the world. Currently based in Berlin, Pat was a finalist in the Berlin New Standup Awards, has performed for Don’t Tell Comedy, and is an alumni of the prestigious San Francisco comedy competition.
