Beschreibung:

In this seminar for students, we want to discuss the history and current state of transatlantic relations and speak to experts on the ground who shape these relations! The transatlantic relationship has a long and multifaceted history, shaped by conflict and cooperation. Current challenges, such as the ongoing war against Ukraine or climate change, demand a strong partnership between both countries. What can the past teach us about the present conditions for this relationship and how do diplomats on the ground view their work amidst these challenges? We also speak to a practitioner in the field of transatlantic relations and discuss how young people can make this field a part of their work and career! If you are interested in Germany and the US and would like to discuss current events with young people and practitioners while networking, come and join us on March 4th!
